Step 1
Our flagship programme exploring an empowering leadership mindset and way of being. Experience breakthroughs in your development through practising true-to-life conversations, and receiving transformative feedback and coaching.
This is for you if you want to develop as a leader, whatever your level of experience. It works just as well if you are a Project Manager, CEO or senior leader, Scrum Master, HR professional, people manager, or work in a self-organising team with no managers.
Tough training in the mindset and abilities needed for more self-managing employees and teams, coupled with plenty of transformative feedback and coaching. And breakthrough results!
Theoretical training or ‘edutainment.’
The online programme consists of 6 modules spread over 10 weeks. Each module is an afternoon (13:00-17:00 CET) and a subsequent morning (9:00-12:00 CET), including breaks.
The in-person programme consists of four days’ practical training with a break (usually one month) in between days 3 and 4. Each training day is from 9:00-17:00, including lunch and breaks. There are some short home assignments to do in between, mostly conversation practice.
Outcomes you can expect from taking part in our programme are:
Practice in the core abilities needed to have a leadership mindset and way of being that is more empowering, more coaching
Increased confidence in having ‘difficult conversations’ in a way that empowers others
New awareness of your leadership strengths and pitfalls through incisive feedback and coaching
How to be a catalyst for your employees/colleagues taking more responsibility and ownership for the business
How to avoid defaulting to solving problems, giving advice, and being solely responsible so others can step into their power.
How to have effective feedback conversations that lead to real development shifts
It’s hard to shift from predictable machinery to new ways and Tuff Leadership Training helps at the most challenging level for this: individually.

This is an experiential programme, so participants will be expected to actively participate throughout, and there will be a mix of solo, pair and group exercises, some using role plays, some using real cases.
The in-person programme includes approximately one hour for lunch and two 15-minute breaks (morning and afternoon).
The online programme takes place using Zoom (and breakout rooms) and the trainer will share information about breaks at the start of each module.
After signing up, all participants will be contacted and there will be a chance to discuss access needs. If you have any access questions before signing up, please contact [email protected]

The training is practical and is designed to develop the leadership mindset and skills needed to unleash responsibility and commitment in your teams.
Old patterns and behaviours will be challenged, and you will become aware of your pitfalls and strengths. Real-life role-plays combined with individualised, powerful feedback mean that you will find new and better ways to deal with the challenges you are facing.
The overall theme is a coaching leadership approach, which is translated into different kinds of conversations such as feedback, coaching and relationship conversations. You will get a variety of new tools that you can apply right away. The methodology used is Tuff Leadership Training’s own, which has been developed for more than twenty years and is known for producing tangible results.
RegisterThe trainers are masters of creating safe environments for our tough training that enable real change in individuals and groups to happen in a short time.

All of our trainers are evaluated by all course participants and have an average score of 9.5 out of 10. We recruit on the basis of abilities rather than CVs, and all trainers undergo extensive internal training, both before and after they become certified, as continuous personal development is part of our culture.
